Two Cricket Clubs reach CAMRA Regional Winner accolade

Blackpool Cricket Club and Empingham Cricket Club have been announced as two of 14 clubs going through as a Regional Winner in 2026's CAMRA and Club Mirror's CAMRA Club of the Year.

Run in partnership with Club Mirror and the Club Awards since 2014, the prestigious CAMRA Club of the Year competition recognises clubs that combine excellent beer, outstanding facilities and a welcoming atmosphere with a thriving club community.

The 14 Regional Winners are now invited to the Club Awards in Leicester on 25 November, where the four Super Regional Finalists will be announced. These four clubs will then face mystery judging as they battle it out for the ultimate accolade – CAMRA Club of the Year 2026.

Club Mirror Managing Director Sean Ferris is one of four judges who will have the difficult task of selecting the ultimate winner.

Sean Ferris said: “It is our privilege to work with CAMRA and to be part of the final judging process as these outstanding clubs compete for the treasured title of CAMRA Club of the Year.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the Regional Winners to the Club Awards in November, where we’ll reveal the four Super Regional Finalists and celebrate the fantastic work being done by clubs across the country.”

All Regional Winners receive two complimentary tickets to attend the Club Awards and join CAMRA and the Club Awards team for an evening celebrating the very best of Clubland.
